Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Greenzo ("Greenzo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our website, apps, and services (together, the "Services"). Greenzo is a sustainability shopping platform: you shop the brands you already love, and every qualifying purchase helps plant trees.
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who we are
Greenzo operates the Greenzo platform and is the controller of the personal information described in this Policy. You can reach us at support@gogreenzo.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details such as your name, email address, password, and country or location.
- Profile information you choose to add, including preferences and interests.
- Communications you send us, such as support requests and survey responses.
- If you join as a creator:profile details, payout and verification information.
Information we collect automatically
- Device and technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and language.
- Usage data such as pages viewed, products and brands you browse, searches, and clicks.
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).
Shopping and affiliate activity
When you shop through Greenzo, you are directed to third-party merchants through affiliate networks (such as Awin and Impact.com). These networks and merchants report purchase events back to us — for example, that a qualifying purchase occurred, the order value, and the merchant — so we can attribute tree gifts to your account and to any creator involved. This attribution uses tracking parameters ("sub-IDs") linked to your Greenzo account. We do not receive your payment card details from these purchases.
3. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Services and your personal impact dashboard.
- To attribute qualifying purchases and plant and track trees on your behalf.
- To personalize product discovery, brands, offers, and content.
- To send you notifications, tree-gift updates, and service or marketing communications (you can opt out of marketing at any time).
- To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and keep the Services secure.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Cookies and tracking technologies
We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure performance, and — importantly — to track affiliate clicks and purchases so trees can be correctly credited to you. Affiliate networks and merchants may also set their own cookies when you click through to shop. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may prevent tree gifts from being attributed to your account.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Affiliate networks and merchants — to enable shopping, track purchases, and attribute tree gifts.
- Tree-planting partners — aggregated or limited data needed to plant and report on trees.
- Service providers — hosting, analytics, communications, payments, and security vendors who process data on our behalf under contract.
- Creators — where they gift a tree, they receive aggregate impact metrics (for example, trees gifted and purchases inspired), never your individual purchase amounts, payment details, or personal contact information.
- Legal and safety — where required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for as long as necessary to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Impact records (such as trees planted in your name) may be retained to preserve your forest and impact history.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), you have these and related rights, including the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising them. To make a request, email support@gogreenzo.com. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each message.
8. International data transfers
Greenzo operates globally, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and India. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-party sites
When you shop, you leave Greenzo and transact on third-party merchant sites governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of those sites.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you.
