Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Greenzo website, apps, and services (together, the "Services") provided by Greenzo ("Greenzo," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. What Greenzo is

Greenzo is a sustainability shopping platform. You discover and shop the brands you already love, and every qualifying purchase you make through Greenzo helps plant trees — at no extra cost to you. Greenzo is not the seller of the products you buy; purchases are made with third-party merchants.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

3. How tree gifting works

  • When you make a qualifying purchase through Greenzo, trees are credited toward your account and added to your personal forest.
  • Because purchases are confirmed by third-party merchants and networks over time, trees may first appear as pending and are planted once the purchase is confirmed. Purchases that are cancelled, returned, or not confirmed may not result in planted trees.
  • Trees are planted and nurtured by our tree-planting partners through sustainable agroforestry programs. Tree counts and environmental figures shown in the Services are good-faith estimates.
  • Trees and tree gifts have no cash or monetary value, are not redeemable for money, and cannot be transferred or sold except as expressly permitted in the Services.
  • What qualifies as a "qualifying purchase" and how many trees it plants may vary by brand, product, price, region, and any applicable sponsor rules, and may change over time.

4. Shopping with third-party merchants

When you shop, you are directed to third-party merchants and complete your purchase on their sites, subject to their prices, terms, and policies. Greenzo does not control and is not responsible for those merchants, their products, pricing, availability, fulfillment, returns, or customer service. Any dispute about a product or order is between you and the merchant.

5. Affiliate relationships and no extra cost

Greenzo participates in affiliate programs and may earn a commission when you shop through the Services. This does not change the price you pay. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

6.Brand offers

Some brands offer discounts and vouchers through the Services. These are provided by the relevant brand or network, may be subject to their terms, and may change or expire. Greenzo is not responsible for offers that are unavailable or not honored by a merchant.

7. Creator accounts

Additional terms may apply if you use Greenzo as a creator (for example payout, or program terms). Where additional terms apply, they supplement these Terms.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
  • Attempt to manipulate tree gifting, attribution, rewards, or referrals (for example, fake accounts, self-referrals, or artificial purchases).
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems.
  • Scrape, copy, or misuse content, product data, or brand materials except as permitted.

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Intellectual property

The Services, including our name, logo, design, and content, are owned by Greenzo or our licensors and are protected by law. Product images, brand names, and marketing materials belong to their respective owners and are used to enable shopping. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, that tree estimates are exact, or that any particular brand or offer will remain available.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Greenzo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services or from any third-party merchant.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Greenzo harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the jurisdiction in which Greenzo is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
